యూరప్ లో వీథులు

The following lines were written by me after my tour to Europe in October 2006. I was highly impressed by the cleanliness and the civic sense of the people of those countries. Contrary to what I often heard and read about the tension, stress and restlessness, I saw people very calm, quite and relaxed in many European cities. It was only in London I observed people hurrying in the streets. Otherwise, they are perfectly at peace with themselves. Also Europeans are known for hiding their feelings in public. On the whole, my opinion about the people of those lands is that they are highly civilized and well-behaved. The architectural marvels they created stand testimony to their genius. Roads and sanitation are the barometers of a community's levels of civilizational refinement. They simply excel in those matters.

ప్రశాంతతే వాటి నీతి
విను రామన్న!

లండన్ ప్యారిస్ రోములు
నాగరికతలో అగ్రగాములు
ప్రజలంతా సుఖకాములు
విను రామన్న!

స్విట్జార్లాండ్ బజార్లు
వాటి శుభ్రతకు జోహార్లు
శబ్దం చేయవు కార్లు
విను రామన్న!
